One of my favorite things about doing family portrait sessions, and hanging out with other mothers in general, is how often I get to observe what supermoms all these women are. I met Kyndra back in my public health days when we were cube-neighbors. She was CPT Jackson at that time and just finishing her Master's. Today, she's MAJ, a mom of two, and has her Doctorate. Supermom is not nearly a sufficient compliment.
Nevertheless, someone who can rock pink heels while mothering deserves every compliment. After spending just a few moments with this family, you know they're doing something right. When both parents are Army, the kids are full of respect and know the routine. They are happy, enjoy themselves, and take care of each other. Their son is formal in his speaking and a protective big brother, their daughter is fun loving and clearly daddy's little girl (look at that head on his shoulder!) I'm sure any mother will tell you tales of horror stories at home, but from where I am, this is a very efficient family dedicated to success.
Kudos to all of you for helping this wonderful woman with all she's achieved! Congrats MAJ Jackson!
