Whoa, can I just say, this shoot kept me on my toes! As always, I'm thrilled to always get to photograph new and unique people and places, so it's not exactly unusual to admit I was nervous when I arrived. The light was bright, the angles were limited, and, if you've ever been around me working, you know I walk backwards. A lot. But ever since I tripped over that poor dog, I've been more careful. Nevertheless, I was sure my gear was going in the Chesapeake. (Spoiler: it didn't.)
A few minutes in and I had found a groove. The couple relaxed. And it was fabulous! Nicole told me they'd need more direction than most couples. Most couples say this. Then they enjoy each other and their outing. (I told you that you would!) Michael works on the docks and peppered her with stories of the yachts. She smiled lovingly up at him. She says she wore heels to help with the height difference. Yeah, I know the feeling! I asked them to stroll one way or another, pause, kiss, hold hands. The rest was all the happy couple! And don't miss that red dress, Nicole was stunning! The result was a bold, flirty, unique engagement session!
Congrats to you both on your engagement, and I can't wait for your wedding!
